How to sync Google Chrome browser settings across multiple computers? These browser settings includes your bookmarks, extensions, apps, theme, and browser preferences. First, you need to set up Chrome sync using the same account on both computers. Choose what to sync & how to protect it
By default, when you sign in to Chrome, all your Chrome data will be synced to your Google Account. This includes bookmarks, history, passwords, and other information.
If you don't want to sync everything, you can also select what types of Chrome data to sync.

- On a trusted computer, open Chrome and sign in.
- At the top right, click More .
- Click Settings.
- Under 'Sign in,' click Advanced sync settings.
- Choose the information you want to sync:
- To sync all data, click the Down arrow Sync everything.
- To choose what gets synced, click the Down arrow Choose what to sync. Then check the boxes you want.
- Under 'Encryption options,' choose how to protect your information:
- Encrypt synced passwords with your Google credentials means that any synced passwords are kept secure by Google with your Google sign-in information.
- Encrypt all synced data with your own sync passphrase means that any synced passwords plus all your other Chrome data are kept secure by a passphrase. No one can read your encrypted data unless they know the passphrase.
- Click OK.

Personalize your Google experience with browser history
The Google Web & App Activity setting includes an option to store your synced Chrome browsing history as part of your saved activity.
This activity may be used to personalize your experience on other Google products, like Search or ads. For example, you may see a news story recommended in your feed based on your Chrome history.
You can always control and review your activity at My Account.
If you don't want to personalize your Google products, you can still use Google's cloud to store and sync your Chrome data without letting Google read any of your data. To add an additional layer of encryption, set up a sync passphrase.

Google Cloud Sync will sync a lot of things, unfortunately the one thing it doesn’t yet sync is your open tabs, lets take a look at how to change this using a custom flag and get your tabs syncing across machines in no time.

Open up chrome and type chrome://flags/ into the omnibar.

Scroll down and look for a flag called “Enable syncing open tabs” and enable it.
Now close chrome and re-launch it. If you click on the wrench menu and select options, switching to Personal Options and selecting Customise under Sync Settings you will see that Open Tabs now appear and are in fact being synced.

Remember that you will have to do this on all the computers that you wish to sync open tabs across. You will also have to be syncing with the same Gmail ID on all the machines.
